The Firepit Rodizio. Currently closed but will be re-opening at the Hofsaess Tennis Academy in La Mairena, possibly in May 2024. Further details will be posted here when available.
El Panal de la Reina. (The Queen's Honeycomb) A fairly new restaurant that we found and liked in Entrerios, a short drive from La Cala Golf. Nice location, nice atmosphere and an excellent menu.
Peña al Galope. Quite an experience. Hidden in the countryside with excellent food and amazingly reasonable prices. Nice location, nice atmosphere and friendly service.
La Tizona in San Pedro. A combined tapas bar with excellent food, wine shop, gourmet shop. The food is excellent with some very original dishes. You can see the menu here.

in the first space where it asks for "Matricula" you must put the number shown under "MATRICULA" on any IBI document you have

I saw an incredible picnic being organized on the beach at Cala de Mijas. It looked so beautiful and original that I asked the two girls preparing it what it was all about.
